Your Part

Whatever the company needs that the founders can’t get to, you help carry. The remit is deliberately broad and it changes week to week. You take an ambiguous problem, make it concrete, and close it without being told how.

• Help run operations, hiring logistics, finance and legal coordination, tooling, the things that keep the company moving
• Turn open questions into decisions, research a market, scope a partnership, draft the memo, bring back a recommendation
• Build the AI tools and automation that let a small team act like a large one

Your Profile

• You have owned something end to end where the outcome was on you, a company, a project, a team, a hard problem you refused to drop
• High agency and comfortable being the least specialized person in the room, because the job is to become useful fast at whatever is in front of you
• Real hands-on AI ability matters here. You will build the tools and automation that run our operations, so this is not just curiosity about AI, it is using it
• Genuinely interested in data and how a technical company is actually built
• Based in or moving to Munich, and open to travel

About OSM

Enterprise margin is decided millions of times a day. Pricing, dispatch, scheduling, allocation, computed continuously by software over live data. Agents made these actions cheap to take, but a good action and the best action look identical in the moment, and the gap between them compounds into billions. Acting is solved. Acting optimally is not.

OSM closes that gap. We turn the lakehouse, where the state of the business already lives, into a world model and run a decision engine on top. Mathematical optimization with AI in the loop computes the best action under uncertainty, with proofs of feasibility and optimality, in real time.

We are an all-technical team of ex-quantum researchers, mathematicians, and database engineers from some of the best institutions there are. We do foundational research to claim our space in the scientific landscape. This year we are publishing two papers at VLDB and defining a new layer of the data stack, the decisionhouse.
